 Outraged Daley vows to defend Chicago gun law An “outraged” Mayor Daley this morning denounced a U.S. Supreme Court ruling overturning Washington D.C.’s handgun ban as a “frightening decision” and a “return to the days of the Wild West.” Daley predicted that Chicago’s 1982 handgun freeze would be next in the crosshairs of the powerful gun lobby and that gun violence will surge if they’e successful. | Daley is notorious for his extreme corruption. It's surprising that anyone takes him seriously anymore. Many challenges to the existing big-city 2A laws are coming down the pike in the next few years, as more people will be emboldened to challenge them and take it to the courts. McCain must get elected so that he will be able to appoint the judges at all levels that will make these rulings pan out in our favor.
