State institutions excluded from FL workplace law

I got this memo today at work (it was emailed to everyone)...

You may be aware that Florida’s new “guns at work” law goes into effect tomorrow. It is important that all members of ************** understand that this law does not apply to educational institutions. It will continue, therefore, to be a very serious crime for anyone to bring a firearm on to ******* property, including our parking lots.

This blows.

Does anyone know of a Florida gun rights lobby that specifically hammers Tallahassee for more 2A recognition? If so, I'd like to join it. If not, I'll join GOA. Maybe both.
