Default Call To Action: Write Senator Harry Reid NOW

Please go to capwiz.com/nra/dbq/officials/ and use the links provided to send the following or similar message to Nevada Senator Harry Reid, regarding his infringement of gun owners rights...

Dear Senator Reid:

I am very disappointed that you have blocked legislation to repeal the
unconstitutional gun bans in the District of Columbia and in our National
Parks.

Even though the Supreme Court has finally recognized that the Second
Amendment is an individual right, it is extremely difficult for citizens to
possess legal firearms in our nation's Capital.

And gun possession on National Park Service land is subject to such
stringent controls as to effectively make firearms useless for self-defense
purposes.

I urge you to use your position as Majority Leader to move legislation
forward to repeal these gun bans.

Sincerely,

Feel free to tell good Old Harry Reid about what you think about him and Nancy Pelosi blocking votes on the second amendment and drilling here, drilling now from even getting to the senate and house floor...

Send Something to Speaker Nancy Pelosi as well:
http://speaker.house.gov/contact/

Tell them to stop imposing their personal will on the American people and start representing the views of majority of their constituents and the majority of the American people...

Preventing votes from even getting to the floor of the house and senate is criminal to say the least...

The problem is that they are so much smarter that the rest of us that they have to decide for us what is good for us or not. I am glad we have the likes of these wonderful public servants to watch out for us sheeple. How would we ever get along with out them?

I wholeheartedly agree with the content of the letter, however, I believe that it is addressed to the wrong person. Here's why:

Harry Reid's position on gun rights:
Project Vote Smart - Senator Harry M. Reid - Issue Positions (Political Courage Test)

Harry Reid's ratings by the NRA, GOA, and various gun control groups:
Project Vote Smart - Senator Harry M. Reid - Interest Group Ratings

This letter needs to go to someone who we know will work in the best interests of gun owners. Harry Reid is not that person.
