Dear Senator Reid: I am very disappointed that you have blocked legislation to repeal the unconstitutional gun bans in the District of Columbia and in our National Parks. Even though the Supreme Court has finally recognized that the Second Amendment is an individual right, it is extremely difficult for citizens to possess legal firearms in our nation's Capital. And gun possession on National Park Service land is subject to such stringent controls as to effectively make firearms useless for self-defense purposes. The problem is that they are so much smarter that the rest of us that they have to decide for us what is good for us or not. I am glad we have the likes of these wonderful public servants to watch out for us sheeple. How would we ever get along with out them?
