Barack Obama's 10 Point Plan To "CHANGE" The Second Amendment

1. Ban use of firearms for home self-defense.
2. Pass federal laws eliminating your right-to-carry.
3. Ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns.
4. Close down 90 percent of the gun shops in America.
5. Ban rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.
6. Increase federal taxes on guns and ammunition by 500 percent.
7. Restore voting rights for five million criminals including those who have been convicted of using a gun to commit a violent crime.
8. Expand the Clinton semi-auto ban to include millions more firearms.
9. Mandate a government-issued license to purchase a firearm.
10. Appoint judges to the U.S. Supreme Court and federal judiciary who share his views on the second amendment.

Just maybe if a law was passed that allowed any NOK to sue President Obama for causing the death/injury of any loved one by the acts of BG's using illegal firearms and that money was taken directly out of his substantial portfolio like us citizens can do to those who used a gun on our kin, he would B spending his presidency in court doing the OJ 2-step, Biden would be running the show and BHO would be paying so much that within say a week he'd qualify for food-stamps. If Obama were president, he would have somewhat of a Democratic majority in Congress that may allow him to sort of do what he wants - but not to the extent that Bush was able to in his first term. There's just not that kind of a lopsided difference.

More importantly, if Obama were elected, membership numbers for groups like GOA and NRA would rise dramatically as people who had simply never bothered to join finally signed up. They could probably clear a 10% increase from early November to inauguration, particularly with people getting memberships and guns for Christmas. More members means more lobbying power. That doesn't even take into account increases in owned guns and CWP permits, which surely would go up significantly. Look around at the folks here - how many do you think would redouble their efforts in getting their friends to get a permit or a firearm, for no other reason than to poke a stick in Obama's eye?

We will be ok as long as we stick together and keep pushing for our rights no matter who is in office.

toreskha you make a good point about lobbying and political clout, I think also general civil-disobedience and mass non-compliance would play a big role in banning gun ownership. There are just too many die hard gun owners in the USA, some of them our patrons, who will never surrender their weapons alive, fact. Most thinking minds know that. Very bad PR with nightly Waco style news reports, KIA-ed LEO's charged with disarming millions with their greaving kin on your big screen TV's, or LEO's just flat out refusing that dangerous a job. So if the LEO's won't or can not disarm the sheep-dogs of this nation bring in the military * to disarm milllions maybe? No disprepect meant but other than being very busy elsewhere right now, they can't seem to do that in Iraq or Afghanistan after 7 years trying to disarm them folks, and are using full force measures like air strikes, drones, full auto-weapons and arty! The happy American 'McFamily' does not want to see dead ex-model citizens being taken to morgues or their homes hit by a Predator drone over a legal pistol they owned all their lives. The jails can only hold so many and with 1 in 2 households in the U.S. gun owning folks, that leaves a lot of messy work that could take down a president (impeachment/resigns) before the laws take the guns away. Being a man of color, a converted ex-Muslim (I guess) and the 1st of that mix to run for the top office, then hitting America with some Jim Crow type anti-gun laws is going to raise more than eye-brows. Racial payback murmurings/accusations at Senate and Congress levels maybe?
"What you gonna do when they come for your gun?" to kinda put a COPS spin on it. (Advise non-self incrimination replies in that hypothetical question PLEASE!!!)

I posted this earlier today then came across this link that maybe answers what could happen if the police can not effect the disarmerment of persons or groups who decide not to comply with an executive order from BHO, and on the positive side we DID need something like this after Katrina or maybe after the big-one on the San-Andreas fault-line in CA blows. Sure would be helpful if a BDE sized al-Q unit comes rolling up from Mexico!
