As expected both Georgia Senators voted no. Now we just need to get a few Democrats or Independents to vote no when the real vote comes up. Honestly though, I think you're about to see "history" made and the bill will pass in some version.

Most Republicans voted no with the exception of one coward. Voinovich (R), Not voting. Not voting is the same as voting yes.

As usual the town hall meetings were a bust. Our elected officials are not listening. Please someone tell me where in the U S Constitution their is some statement that gives congress the power to push this agenda on the citizens of this great nation. If their is no such power, these people are violating the oath of office they took to uphold the Constitution of the United States and should be fired. My only hope is that voters have a long enough memory to help these mind numb robot senators into a new career in the private sector come November next year, if we can last that long.

Remember that they are supposed to be elected "representatives" for their constituents. This administration has a record of not listening to those they "represent" and most should be voted out at the earliest time possible. We'll see how 2010 goes and if those up for election are left in, we're in a world of trouble.
