Virginia carry law modification

Has anyone heard about the two bills that were to be voted on in Virginia? One was whether or not concealed carry would be allowed in places that served alcohol for consumption on premises and the other was whether deadly force was allowed to be used in your home. I thought I heard that the first passed and the second didn't..... that couldn't be right could it??
