I snipped this part out, because I have to disagree here. Mr. Obama has no agenda item for gun issues because it's IN THE CONGRESS. Have you ever looked to see how many gun laws are already ON the books at the Federal level? The problem is not the laws, it's the enforcement OF them. More laws and more restrictions won't help if the ones already passed are not enforced to begin with.
As for Mr. Obama being "Out to get" us......he has made direct threats against the 2nd Amendment. He has been FOR repealing all concealed carry laws, FOR allowing law suits aimed at bankrupting the firearm industry, and FOR raising the tax on ammunition. No......he won't take away our 2nd Amendment rights....he'll just make it so impossible to buy anything that no one will be able to afford guns/ammunition.

As for what he's doing to help the big 3, I have yet to see what his plan is. But I am concerned with anything that he does because he has socialistic ideas. I am not for that type of program. I do not believe government is here to save me from myself. You want to help people? Educate them. Educate them about taking care of themselves better so we can reduce the amount of money spent to take care of them when they get sick. Educate them about banking/economics/investing, etc. so they can be more involved from a point of knowledge in their retirement and the business they work for. Educate them about what the US Constitution say and stands for and what the people of that time went through to HAVE the freedoms we take for granted. Educate them about what Veteran's Day is about and what the poppy means....and what all of those millions of people who died, went to bettle for.
When this whole experiment called a republic started, it was done for commerce more than any one thing. It was done to allow free enterprise to grow and flourish without government oversight and totalitarian controls. Now, I believe SOME oversight is necessary, but it still comes down to personal involvement and education. If you want the government to support you and make the decisions for you, then you (or someone else) has to pay for it. But the bigger government gets, the more it costs. FIFTY percent of our tax dollars go to social programs in one form or another. FORTY-TWO percent is for Medicare/Social Security/Medicaid, etc. alone!!!! These figures are as of April 2008. How much more do you WANT to spend on these? And who do you want to pay for them?
It's not that I disrespect YOU, it's that I don't believe in your views JW. I believe in helping my neighbor, but by giving him a hand UP not a hand OUT. There's an verse in the Bible that says (basically) Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you feed him for life. Personal responsibility and education are the best ways to fix what's broke. Not giving more handouts to people.

A large number of ignorant people seem to be projecting their lack of ability to think for themselves on this guy who has little or no qualifications to hold any executive position. He hasn't even finished out his Senate term. They're going to eventually be sorely disappointed, and it's going to be absolutely hilarious.

Where's my violin?

You've gotten it all wrong - a troll is someone who speaks before thinking. I voted for two Democrats and a Constitution Party candidate locally. I also voted for Bill Nelson, against Katherine Harris, when she ran for Senate in Florida - because she was mentally ill. I'd rather have a Democrat in office than an insane Republican. Other people on here probably voted for non-Republicans as well.

Conversely, I suspect there's plenty of morons out there who voted against anyone who was a Republican. That's a great way to dig a hole.

Don't you have to have something wrong upstairs to be a demoncrat to begin with?? You are correct Toreskha, I have voted for non Republican candidates. If the candidate has their head up their rectum, it doesn't matter what party they're from. I'll vote for the person who has views most similar to mine and will support what's important to me.

Just a quick point of clarification: Obama's mother was undoubtedly a U.S. Citizen. The arguement over his eligibility to run for president is based on whether or not he was actually born in the U.S. or in Kenya. Either way, he is still a U.S. citizen because he was born to an American parent, but most people interpret the term "Natural-born citizen" to mean that the Pres and VP must have been born in the US, not have acquired citizenship in another manner.

If you officially renounce your citizenship, then you are no longer a U.S. citizen regardless of where you were born. There are several pending court cases where there is evidence that obama renounced citizenship. Indonesian law allowed only Indonesian citizens to go to school. Since "Barry Soetero" went to school in Indonesia, then it's presumed that he was a citizen of Indonesia. Indonesia does not recognize "dual citizenships", so therefore a valid argument could be maid that "Barry Soetero" or whatever his name is was a citizen of Indonesia.

Stop posting your "point of clarifications" if you're DEAD WRONG! Do a little research before posting utter "bovine scatology".
