 Nine months later... Is everyone happier now? Huh? HUH? NOBODY to vote for (worth voting for)... What a sad state of affairs. :( Let's start over, this didn't turn out good at all for the country. At times like this, it is voting for the lessor of two evils. McCain is the lessor, but not by much. :( If it were just about guns... ah, that is easy. Obama is against everything we believe in, and it is getting to close for comfort with just a few days left. The country sure does NOT need him.  |

| I agree McCain is not ideal; but he is exponentially better then Gun Ban Obama... http://gunbanobama.com/ One thing that makes McCain much more palpable is Governor Sarah Palin! She is like a female Governor Mike Huckabee! She waxed (I Wrote the original Clinton Assault Weapons Ban) Senator Joe "Gun Grabbing" Biden soundly last night in their debate... the Biden Gaff machine did not disappoint... Governor Palin has a Perfect record supporting the Second Amendment, life time hunter, firearm collector... A rated by the NRA and GOA! Governor Palin is a proven reformer, whom went after members of her own party to make the right kind of change... http://rightchange.com/ Plus she has experience as a City Council Woman, Mayor, Energy Commissioner, Governor and small business owner... Heck she has more executive experience then anybody on either ticket! Further, both Biden and Obama have only been Senators; and have not even run a grocery store and do not even have managerial experience; let alone ANY EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE! McCain does not have defacto executive experience either; but he has been a member of both the House and Senate and commanded the largest air wing in the Navy and has served his country longer then Obama has been alive! Moreover, McCain has shown his true character better then anybody could; when as a son and grandson of two 4 star Navy Admirals he was offered early release from the Hanoi Hilton prison camp in Vietnam... AND REFUSED! Obama has never authored a single piece of legislation; McCain has been a part of every major piece of U.S. legislation in the last 20+ years... Without a doubt I do not agree with McCain on everything, heck almost anything; but he has earned the title Maverick and proven reformer and has a record of crossing party lines to get things done; neither Obama nor Biden have EVER CROSSED PARTY LINES... Check Biden's record; his is 30 years of Obama's record... Biden voted against the confirmation of 2 of the 5 Supreme Court Justices that stood up for the Second Amendment... Both Biden and Obama refused to sign and submit briefs in support of Parker-Heller... McCain FILED HIS BRIEF IN SUPPORT OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT! I think Governor Palin is the single person on either ticket that most represents the Average American and their values... Having Palin on the ticket gives me real HOPE, that once McCain is out we will have a President that we can agree with on the majority of issues... In the words of Hillary Clinton... "John McCain would bring a lifetime of experience to the office of the President, I would bring a lifetime of experience; Barack would bring a speech he wrote in 2002". In the words of Joe Biden, Obama's running mate... "The Office of the President does not lend itself to on the job training" and when asked directly in a democratic debate Joe Biden reaffirmed it! You might support Obama IF: http://www.youmightsupportobamaif.com/index.htm If you fail to vote for McCain-Palin or you do not vote; YOU ARE VOTING FOR Obama-Biden... Remember, how we ended up with Slick-Willie Clinton! Ross Perot took 15% of the vote which gave the election to Slick-Willie... If people had not voted 3rd party in that election the first Bush would have won; and we would not have had the largest gun bans in u.s. history, and there would have been no 911... to say the least...
