Evidently this was stopped by higher headquarters when one soldier started asking why and passing around the order. It still goes to show what can happen when some orders are not questioned.

Every Soldier under the jurisdiction of the CO of Ft Wainright is forbidden from concealed carry with permit or otherwise.

That commander is also overstepping his authority, unless he is stating that for on base. If it were brought to the attention of higher headquarters I bet those orders would also be overturned for off duty, off base purposes.
