We do need Free Universal Health Care for all american's. For Gods sake we are 34 in the world in healthcare. Our insurance company's stood under oath the other day and were asked the question. If your clients pay their premiums will you cover their claims and they said no. I don't know what insurance companies are talked about here but I do know that mine pays my doctor and hospital bills very quickly. Explain how you can pay less or no more on taxes when that's what is going to pay for this universal health care for all Americans. All these programs being thought up are going to be paid by the tax payers dollar and taxes aren't going to be raised? And guess what, it will be the working class that will pay most of those taxes. That's why education is getting hit. It's one of the first to take a hit when so called cuts are ordered. It's a law that no one can be turned away at an emergency room when they seek care. Yes the system is broken but universal health care is not the way. Why do you think that many who can afford it come to the U.S. for their surgery? It's because we have some of the best doctors in the world. A universal health care plan will just make us like everyone else.

Therefore, I have no predetermined nanny state dependencies on Medicare, Social Security or any other Socialist Entitlement Programs that we can not afford...

I fund my own health care, that of my immediate families, paid for all my kids college x6, plus one grandchild and earned my pension(s) from nearly 3 decades in the USMC, and a civilian career...

The govt will be able to control every F**king aspect of your life. You cant eat red meat because that will raise health care costs. First of all thank you for a nice reply and for not getting all bent about this. I enjoy talking rationally about things. SOme of the other people should take your resonse as an example. Anyways,

For one you cut the wasteful spending to stuff thats so not important. And that goes for both sides dem & rep. Ask your insurance company if they would cover you if you had a heart attack or cancer. Unless you have group insurance the answer is no. Thats why we got to have something. THis is america ya'll we pick up our soldier's in the battlefield even if it means risking our life. We got to help the unisured/uninsurable.

We have some of the best drs in the world because we have the best opportunity in education and are the most technologicallly advanced. Not because they want to pay more. We got to reach out to the uninsured and these small business owners who pay out the wazoooo for health insurance. You cann't have a health system that wants to profit. That doesn't make since to me.
