Palin Resigns

If she's getting ready to run for the Senate, and has any aspirations of the Oval Office for 2012, then that would be a gigantic waste of time and resources....not to mention she'd have to start campaigning immediately for the Presidency after taking the Senate oath of office.

Perhaps 2016 is her target. Which leaves '12 for some other unknown to fill the void until then.

Get ready! She is moving forward. It has nothing to do with the press, or personal reasons (as has been reported). She carried McCain as far as he could go, and I think we will see her listed at the top of the ticket!! Soon!!!

It will be interesting to see what happens next. Whatever happens… I say God bless Sarah Palin and her family! She has done an exemplary job leading Alaska—and I believe she’d do an equally exemplary job leading America!

All I know for certain is… in Washington… we need less politicians like Obama—more leaders like Palin!

Everything belongs to God. We may as individuals or as a nation try to seperate ourselves from God and his restrants but when we do we will pay a great price. We are already seeing that in this once great republic.

What a strange comment you made.

How do you get that from Tea for One's comment? No one is saying there should be a national religion or that one was over another...he said God generically (can you say generic God in the same sentence?).

Your God, my God, his God doesn't have to be the same and doesn't have to be over another. Tea for One didn't imply that his was over anyone's.

I do think she is a genuine person (Palin) and will need to brush up on current affairs to have a base to formulate ideas from. But I think her core values will drive her to be a competent leader.

I seriously doubt that any of us shoved in front of a microphone and quizzed about world leaders, their policies and what the US should think about them, could formulate a coherent thought that made any sense without having studied up on them.

Sarah is the things you said above. But heart and faith is not all you need to be President. Heart and faith are two very essential ingredients, but you have to be very bright as well, and I don't think she is bright enough.

There has to be someone brighter than Sarah that can be ethical AND support the conservative cause. The problem is, most of them are ALSO bright enough NOT to run for the office!!!

In any event we should remember the need to unite our party and conservatives and not allow insurgents to fracture us with statements like calling Sarah out of her name. That is exactly how we lost the last election to the current real socialist DINGBAT that is in Office.
