| "No Bullets, No Shooting." - Ted Kennedy 1974 In 1974, Legendary Gun Banner Ted Kennedy (D-MA) knew that banning ammunition would have the same practical effect as banning guns. On the floor of the Senate, Kennedy said that the “manufacture and sale of handguns should be terminated” and that “existing handguns should be acquired by states.” And toward that end, he urged passage of his amendment to “require the registration of every civilian-owned handgun in America,” to “establish and maintain a nationwide system to license every American who owns a handgun,” and “to reduce the number of handguns in civilian ownership, by outlawing . . . all handguns except those intended for sporting purposes.” But, Kennedy added, “if [banning handguns] is not feasible we may be obliged to place strict bans on the production and distribution of ammunition. No bullets, no shooting.” No Bullets No Shooting It should come as no surprise that Ted Kennedy was one of Obama's biggest supporters during the 2008 Campaign... they paraded him around like the Pope... |

I'm sure Teddy was thinking "How come they get to round up and kill millions of people, and we don't!" I wish someone would shoot him. |

| Ted Kennedy is at death's door anyway... Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., who is battling brain cancer, will not attend the public funeral services this morning for his sister, Eunice Shriver, who died Tuesday at the age of 88, The Boston Globe reports. The services at St. Xavier Church in Hyannis, Mass., begin at 10 a.m. ET. Kennedy did attend a private family Mass at the Shriver home Tuesday, but did not attend the wake, the newspaper says. Vice President Biden plans to be at the funeral. Ted Kennedy won't attend Eunice Shriver funeral - On Deadline - USATODAY.com The problem is that he has given the idea to far too many other career gun banners, and fellow Constitution tramplers, usurpers, Second Amendment Infringers, etc., that are in perfect or at least reasonable health for the foreseeable future... That offensive list includes but is not limited to...
George is not eligible either... Although, he has admitted that he was born in Hungry ... So IF some patriot should refresh the tree of liberty with the blood of a tyrant & usurper, we could do no worse... Yes even Biden, Pelosi, Clinton or the first 20 people in succession would still be better then Obama... I for one would lose no sleep over it... |

| It is rather discouraging to stop and reflect on some of the people who have long outlived any usefulness they might have had. And to wonder what purpose was ever served by some others...

That's easy: while most Americans equate "freedom" only to annual fireworks, The Kennedys served as a liiving warning of need for eternal vigilance against royalty-- and the inevitable resulting arrogance and vainglory regarding the expendibility of the common "little people" to "King and Country." (In other words, while the ruling-elite are protected by legions of armed guards, the rest of us nobodes are disarmed, and are supposed to "take one for the team" when it comes to our own personal safety). This was underscored in US v. Cruikshank, where the Supreme Court claimed that individuals had no right to bear arms, but had to depend entirely for their safety on their state's police power. (The court likewise ruled in a different case, that police are under no obligation whatsoever to protect anyone.) |
