Default Change Explained!!

The buzzword of this election is 'CHANGE'.
Candidates toss it around without saying what they want to change to.
Years ago, there was an old tale in the Marine Corps about a lieutenant who inspected his Marines and told the 'Gunny' that they smelled bad. The lieutenant suggested that they change their underwear. The Gunny responded, 'Aye , aye, sir, I'll see to it immediately'.
He went into the tent and said, 'The lieutenant thinks you guys smell bad, and wants you to change your underwear.
Smith, you change with Jones, McCarthy, you change with Witkowskie, Brown, you change with Schultz. Get to it'.

The moral: A candidate may promise change in Washington but don't count on things smelling any better.

we've seen plenty of Change already. the candidate of change seems to change his positions each day. that's the kind of change we can hope for and believe in.

I am all for change if it is positive change. Change in the proper direction. I would welcome change from big brother, to much government, to a government that would follow the constitution. One that would stop being the policeman of the world as our founding fathers including George Washington warned us against. That is why I would have welcomed someone like Ron Paul. However I do not think we will ever get a president like that from the two major parties anymore. They both have been taken over by those that want America to abanden our constitution and fall in line with the one world government, new world order. The kind of change Obama has in mind will just take us farther into a left wing, welfare state.

we see someone has drank the kool-aid here.

You'll vote for a man simply because your mad with another? in another thread, you said to vote on issues...what issues has obama addressed that you agree with? if you love the 2nd amendment, you're a fool to vote for him. if you don't want tax hikes, you're a fool to vote for him.

true - McCain is no cup of tea (i dont like him one bit), but he is clearly a better choice then this socialist empty suit the left has running. McCain is the anti-Obama vote.

If you want another AWB and more gun restrictions, vote Obama
If you want higher taxes, more regulation, vote Obama
If you want surrender and appeasment, vote Obama
If you want govt. telling u what u can do and what you can't - vote Obama

It's simple....

Hey, I've used my vote to vote against an incumbent I did not like rather than for the challenger. However, none of those even came close to being like Obama either. Since Bush is not running again, at least I am no longer in that position again. If it were Bush versus Obama, and I knew that the winner would be one of them and not a third party candidate, and I did not want to waste my vote, I just might choose to stay home. No way in good conscience could I cast a vote for either one. Yes, John Kerry was a far more appealing opponent than Obama is, and that's why, despite some uneasiness I had about him, I cast a vote for him against George Bush, and I would do it again.

it may take that to wake this country up. What we don't need is an anti-gun carter...and we may just get it.

I guess jwtollett21 has not figured out (yet) that one of the many changes (Wahabi fatwas) ahead for AmeriKa if Barak Hussein Obama has his way, is your Lord God will become Allah, the merciful, to the faithful.
Which makes your Jesus Christ a prophet of Allah, who was followed by the blessed Mohammed (570-632 AD) more power unto him thrice blessed, but not a son or even a relative of Allah who is the only God, just one earlier Jewish mortal good guy and one of His compassionate servants as was Moses and many who fill your Judeo-Christain bible... the false words of the true God found only in the Koran. Obama will appreciate your sucker vote jwtollett21.
Salaam U Alaykum
