    Default Visiting CCW person

So I am visiting my daughter who lives in Birmingham area.

I have a New Hampshire Non resident permit, I'm from South Carolina. The way I read the Alabama laws I cannot carry inside her apartment? She does not own the property, but has a 3 year lease.

It is unlawful to carry a concealed pistol, firearm, or
airgun without a permit. It is unlawful for a person to
carry a pistol about his person on premises not his own or
    under his control.
Am I missing something here? In SC the property owner or tenant can give you the CCW holder permission to carry within their home or property even if they are renting....

    Thanks

The apartment is "under her control"...sounds to me like you're ok there.

Alabama recognizes a NH non-resident permit, so there shouldn't be any problem at all. Even if you had no permit at all, you're OK in your daughter's apartment.
