 Is there a difference? just wondering.. was thinking of getting some steel core ammo for my AK-47 just for the fun of it. but when I read about it they seem to make references to armor piercing rounds being somehow different. so my question is, is there a real difference between armor piercing and steel core ammo?
__________________ They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we are not using it anymore.      |

| Nope no diff that I know of. Armor piercing ammo is steel core. Some people call it steel core some call it armor piercing. In any case it'll shoot fine through your AK. Just don't shoot it at an indoor range! They won't be very happy with you.
