It's good to see that the State of Arizona stepped up to protect its citizens where the federal government has failed to do for years.

Here's a snippet: A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, WITHOUT A WARRANT, MAY ARREST A PERSON
IF THE OFFICER HAS PROBABLE CAUSE TO BELIEVE THAT THE PERSON HAS COMMITTED

The ink wasn't even dry in Az and what'z his name in DC was spitten and sputteren about over turning the Law in the courts.

Earlier Friday, Obama called the Arizona bill "misguided" and instructed the Justice Department to examine it to see if it's legal. He also said the federal government must enact immigration reform at the national level - or leave the door open to "irresponsibility by others."

On another note, I don't know why 0bama wants to reform immigration laws. The current laws let him back in after he became an Indonesian.

This bill is great thing but it is only a small step to stop illegals. We must seal the border to stop the flood.

What is being overlooked with the new law is the "Montana clause" exempting firearms manufactured, purchased and owned within the State of Arizona from federal regulation!!! In July I will be visiting Ruger and ordering a full auto Mini 14 and Mini 30!!!

UNFORTUNATELY, AZ law prohibits full auto weapons. For now. ARS 13-3101 under "Prohibited Weapons"...and the new law still makes the exception.
