Default Greater Phoenix Convention Center

The 2009 NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits is there. Can anyone confirm if that is a prohibited area under ARS or if they post? That will be the determining factor if I go.

It is still being built. Under the law it will not be illegal to open carry there with or without a permit, neither will it be illegal to conceal carry there so long as you have a ccw permit from any State (AZ recognizes ALL states). If for any reason they were to post a sign banning weapons then you are only allowed to conceal carry there until asked to leave for ignoring their sign (assuming someone notices you are carrying). If you then refuse to leave you could then be charged with trespassing.

According to the National Safety Council, we are more likely to die in a bicycle accident or plane crash than an accidental gun shooting. We should ban bicycles & planes before banning guns.

Default Is it a government building

I have noticed that some government buildings do post and put metal detectors up (i.e. Maricopa County Building). Is the convention center government owned and may do the same thing?
