In late 2008, because of the political atmosphere under the new administration, my husband and I decided that now was the time to exercise our 2nd Amendment rights. Up to that time, we had no way to defend ourselves. We have become very proactive in our Constitutional right to defend ourselves. We are active members of the NRA and the Virginia Citizens Defense Leage (VCDL). We have armed ourselves, took Concealed Carry classes, applied for and are awaiting our CCPs. Until those...
