I also am a conservative Wife, Mom and Grandmom of 3, member of the NRA, but unfortunately unlike you, I live under the regieme of the not late enough Ted "killer" Kennedy, and Barney "the purple dinasour" Frank, and Coward Kerry! HELP!!! We can't even carry mace or pepper spray. In our state we MUST try to get out of our homes if we hear someone breaking in, in the middle of the night, because as Kennedy once said, you may not shoot a person protecting "property". When I lock my doors at night and go to sleep, I no longer think of my house as property, it is my peace of mind, where I expect to be safe, and anyone breaking in at 2am, isn't coming in to throw me a BD party! The reason I am on this forum is that I am helping to get rid of Barney "dining room table" Frank. To those who don't watch Fox news, Barney Frank told a woman at one of his town hall meetings, "Mame, talking to you is like talking to a dining room table, and I want nothing to do with it!" He's such an obnoxious BASTARD, worse in person then he comes across on TV. Two days after his meeting I was on Fox & Friends, talking about his rudeness and closed mind, but more about my stand on "socialized" medicine, as I am a healthcare worker. If you are a regular watcher of Fox News Network, it was also me who they kept showing the clip of me telling Barney "This is not a federal Govt issue, this is a people issue and the people need to work this out". We NEED to keep healthcare a private entity, but that's a different issue. There is a flicker of hope for our state for anyone who wants to put good old Barney in the unemployment line, and his name is Earl Sholley. He is a conservative, small business owner, so he knows how to meet a payroll and balance a budget, who is pro-life, pro 1st and 2nd amendment rights. He is a father and widower, who's wife died in 2005 of Breast CA. I met with him and he is the polar opposite of good old Barney. He is a soft spoken polite gentleman. I am asking any gun shop owner, or gun club in Barney Frank's district to go to his website Sholleyforcongress.us, and contact him if you would like to donate money, time, willingness to help,or would like to set up a meet and greet with Earl. Also any conservatives anywhere, who want Barney out for his role in destroying our economy (Fannie Mae, find out more about his role @Judicialwatch.org). I wanted to meet with him to make sure he wasn't just a different version of Barney, believe me, I wouldn't be volunteering for him if he was. If Earl were our Congressman, maybe I could become a gun owner without a letter from God himself. Earl believes the Constitution gave us that right. He is a Veteran, who believes this is the best country in the world and wants to fight to get our honor, and constitutional freedoms back. He believes in limited Govt, and term limits. Anyone in the country that despises Barney Frank as I do, please send whatever you can to help get rid of him, and anyone in the 4th district of Ma. we need your help, or if it's all you can afford, your vote, and a willingness to put a bumper sticker on your car, or a yard sign in your yard. PLEASE do what you can to get this 2nd ammendment candidate in Barney Frank's seat in November 2010. Thanks from a severely supressed conservative. DH and I watch Fox News exclusively. No Obama News Networks for us. Since I watch FNC so much, I probably have seen you being interviewed...unfortunately, I can't place you. Will have to search the Fox News Channel archives to see if your face pops up.

I am so very sorry that the citizens of Massachusetts are subjected to such anti-gun politics. Guess your State leaders haven't really grasped the truth that "Guns Save Lives".

Of course, even though Virginia is a "must issue" State, meaning that unless an individual is insane or has a personal history of violent behavior, an applicant cannot be refused a concealed carry permit, and even though open carry is legal in this State, we still have to be vigilant and constantly fight to retain our 2nd Amendment rights. That is why DH and I belong to the Virginia Citizens Defense League. If there is such an organization in Massachusetts, I strongly recommend that you join. VCDL is THE strongest lobby in Virginia and our State legislatures really listen to the voice of our membership.

I agree with you about Barney Frank...and Pelosi and Obama and Reid are just as dangerous. It infurates me how Pelosi called us "Astro Turf" instead of "grass roots"...and how Congress completely ignored the multi-million person demonstration this past September 12th. Guess the demonstration was easy to ignore since it was so quiet, peaceful, orderly and didn't throw trash all over the ground. (I was so very proud of each and every one of those Patriots.) And, talk about arrogance, Obama was out of town on 9/12/2009 and actually said that he wasn't aware that any demonstration was taking place that day. Arrogance is alive and well in D. C. We need to vote them ALL out and start over with conservatives who truly embrace our Constitutional Republic and the ideals upon which it was founded.
