Why we can't carry in NYC with our CCW Lic.

I live in New York but I have a house in florida. But I don't get to go down south as much and I don't like that I can't carry in NYC. Do anybody know of any laws that was passed to allow us to carry in nyc with our CCW Lic.???

 | This is not legal advice, You must check this out throughly. Unless you have a NYC carry you can not CCW in NYC's 5 Burroughs. You can transport thru, go to the airport, events, only following the specific laws pretaining to what you are doing. eg. going thru NYC on interstate, your pistol must be secured in lock box in trunk without ammo. To the airport you must notify the airline and they will tell you where to bring it, again secured in a lock box without ammo. And you must be a resident to leave and bring it back. Say going to a defensive hand gun training course in Arizona and back. NRA sancationed events, etc. You must do your homework and check with you local PD before you go. Try to get something in writing or a person name, or regulation quoted etc. |
