So I was cruising local gun shops today. To my surprise a small town bait And tackle shop that I went into on a whim had several AR's for sell. Going to Montana this year to go elk hunting. Got a tag for one. My question is whether my Remington bdl 700 270 win is going to be enough rifle. I have always liked a 38 revolver for conceal carry. It may not be the best option but from time to time I still will choose it over my other carry guns. It may not be the best choice but its a choice none the less.
Idk much about one of these, though I have shot oneva few times. Can I get a decent are AR for under $1000.00? That may include a scope or sighting device. Any help would be great. Just trying to add to the collection.
