A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.Sensible gun control. That seems to be a statement that is made quite frequently every time there is a tragic occurrence involving a gun. Unfortunately, what does it mean? I think everyone can agree we don't want firearms in the hands of dangerous people. The bad news is that it seems the attempts to make this happen are so shallow that all that really can come out of them is restrict good law abiding people. So lets talk about what would be sensible laws and requirements.
Do you think it is reasonable and sensible to perform a background check on all firearm transactions, even private sales?
No
How do we decide mental competency? Do we fear discussing our concerns with doctors with the possibility of our doctor making the recommendation if we are competent to own firearms?
We don't and no.
How many rounds is enough? Should there be limits and restrictions? Ban Internet sales?
Never enough. No. No.
I would like to hear thoughts and ideas. Pro and for. I am not sure of all the answers but I do believe that we as 'gun owners' should help mold these thoughts not avoid them.
Lets hear it.

No such thing as sensible gun control.
People want safety from criminals? Get a gun and defend yourself.
There is no such thing, Sensible would be Punishing the Criminal equal to the crime They committed.
