SCCY CPX-1 a waste of money and time

Just wanted to put in my two cents' worth on the CPX-1.
It's worthless, unless your idea of a good personal carry is a single-action pistol. To wit: each and every time you fire this "weapon," you have to turn the safety back to "FIRE," since every time you fire it, the safety jumps back to "SAFE."
This pattern persisted after contacting the manufacturer, and receiving a new and improved safety. It was easy enough to install, and it seemed to be stiffer to operate, which I had hoped would translate into staying where I put it. Lo and behold, the problem persists, and I'm at a loss as to my next step.
