Revolution?
Peaceful revolution: Absolutely the best option! We need a revolution at the polls. People need to get off of their asses and go to the polls in record numbers and vote out their current representatives, congressional and senate, and break the cycle of career politicians who are not accountable to their constituents but are beholden to the myriad of lobbyists who financially influence their votes for bills that are not in the slightest way what is best for the country. DO NOT RE-ELECT ANYONE! This is the only way the people can take back their government and country peacefully. If the current politicians see that they're being held accountable then they will do what they always do; back down, regroup and then come back later with Plan B which is still not what is best for America.
Armed revolution: Absolutely the LAST and least desirable solution, but it should not be discounted unless you want to hand the country over to an avowed socialist and like minded politicians who will continue to use their political position to consolidate their power and stay in control indefinitely. Make no mistake about what the "health care" and "cap and trade" bills are all about. It's about control and power. Both are methods to consolidate their power, raise taxes and take more control over our lives with less and less regard for what is best for the country.
This country was born through revolution that overthrew a tyrannical government that excessively taxed it's subjects without any regard for how it impacted their lives, like we have now. Yes, chaos would be the order of the day and this would definitely be the ultimate option, but perhaps that is what it is going to take to take back the America we grew up in and love and the country that many of us have fought for and served in the military to help
preserve our way of life -- the envy of the rest of the free world.
Does it have warts? Sure! Is it perfect? No! But why else do people from all over the world strive to get here legally or illegally?
Because they know that it is, or was, the land of opportunity. How many people are trying to sneak into Russia, China, Cuba or
Venezuela?
So, perhaps the fate of our country will rest in the hands of people who are willing to fight, literally fight, for our freedom. If you think that this is not a pretty picture you're right. But would you rather see that or watch our country become more and more socialist with less and less regard for individual rights, Sheeple who
just go along with whatever the government wants to do; the path of least resistance. When you get 51% of the population that depends on the government for either entitlements or a job for a living, then you can expect that the government will have taken over and the people have lost.
Let's choose option #1, get involved and peacefully take our country back!

| | True enough, my father taught me at an early age that change only comes from evolution, or revolution. While we are not quite to the point of the latter, it should be wise that it is always held as an option. There are very well meaning, although misdirected persons always seeking power. Some to do the Lord's Work, at least in their minds. These people think they are the smartest in the room, and want to save us from ourselves. Others, the more insidious, are using the one's who think they are doing the Lords' work for their power grab. Either way, the Framers clearly stated in the Constitution what they expected of the Federal Government, and those are only the things the Government are legally expected to do. Those powers that are not expressed in the Constitution as given to the Federal Government, are powers that are supposed to go to the States. So as you can see, we have our work cut out for us. If we place as much focus on voting, knowing the issues, holding the feet of our elected officials to the fire as we are passionate about our right to bear arms we would be a hell of a lot better off.
