I own an lc9 and a Sr9c finding holsters has been a challenge. Then I met Larry. He has a business designing and making holsters. He has now made 3 holsters for me and is making one for my wife now. Two of my holsters are iwb one for each of my rugers. They are extremely comfortable, I carry small of my back. My brothers have bought from him and so has my dad. Check him out at WWW.Tennesseeholstercompany.com
In Colorado it took me about 90 days to get my permit. I think some of the variables are internal to the sheriff department where you apply. In my case I called about 4 weeks before I got the permit and they told me I was approved, but someone would have to make up the permit. That took the balance of the time. Maybe the Sheriff's office where I applied only does cards once a month, I never found out why the delay.
Whats with calling CCW a "priviledge" Im I wrong or the Constitution call it "right"? everything I read about it always calls it priviledge. I may be alone in this subject but it just sounds wrong to me. What do you think?
I carry a RIA 1911 A1/CS. Never shot a SIG 1911, but the RIA is a great and reliable sidearm, it is a little heavy but that reduces the recoil some. I think if you have a chance to shot both it would give you a choice to decide which you like best. Trigger is smooth and I would like to change the sights but the front sight is fixed to the slide (you will need a gunsmith to replace) other than that all I have done was replace the grips. Good luck choosing the one for you..
