WOW, I don't even drink coffee, but I may go buy 6 on valentines day lol
I have only been to a Starbucks in Hotels and airports but I guess it is time to go to one.
Call for Boycott of Starbucks on Valentine's Day Over Gun Policy
An anti-gun group is attempting to organize a nationwide Valentine's Day boycott of Starbucks over the coffee chain's gun policy.
Starbucks does not ban guns in its stores; rather, it defers to local laws. The National Gun Victim's Action Council (NGAC) says that amounts to a pro-gun policy that endangers customers.
"Starbucks allowing guns to be carried in thousands of their stores significantly increases everyone's risk of being a victim of gun violence," NGAC CEO Elliot Fineman said in a news release. "Open and conceal and carry are among the reasons there are 12,000 gun homicides each year in the U.S. If we had England's gun laws we would expect 375 gun homicides each year—97% less than we have. England's gun laws are based on protecting public safety, ours on maximizing sales for the gun industry."
Gun Owners Support Starbucks
Gun owners are asked to visit a Starbuck's on Valentines day and be sure to thank them for standing up for Freedom and the Second Amendment. If you can't visit a Starbucks's please consider sending an email thanking then for their Pro Gun Position.

I will be supporting Starbucks on Valentine's Day!!
This is a great idea. Have a latte or two on Valentine's day, keep the receipt, mail it with a small thank you note to Starbucks. Once it becomes obvious there are MILLIONS more gun owners than anti-gunners in this obnoxious little group, Starbucks will get the message, even if the media tries to hush it up.

I'll be there for support too

Yes, guns and coffee. That starts my day off right!

Never have been to a Starbucks, but count me in on Valentine's day.
Just our luck that the worst president in the history of this nation is going to be reelected due to the incompetence of the opposing party.
I make a promise to each and all of you. Tuesday, February 14th, I am going to purchase at least 1/2 lb of coffee beans (ground), a large latte and a gift card of at least $10.00 and gift it to a friend or family member. F-ck anyone who decides NOT to frequent a Starbucks because they are hoplophobic. As far as I'm concerned the gloves can come off on that day and I might just leave a few Grandpa Jack booklets from jpfo.org at a local Starbucks when I buy those things. ...Like I haven't already!

Why all the hoopla about Starbucks and the 2A? It's not like they have a PRO 2A stance, they have a PRO $$ stance. They have made it clear their policy is to follow local and state laws regarding the carry of guns in their facilities.
It's not like they have come out and said "We are PRO 2A regardless of what the state or locals say. Come on in with your guns." What the HAVE said is "Come on in with your MONEY to buy our coffee and if you happen to be exercising your 2A right , as long as you have money to but our coffee, we won't throw you out."
Now if you go get the coffee on the protest day just to thumb your nose at the anti's, well that's okay in my book but don't go putting Starbucks on a pedestal.
And if you think I'm off base with this, try rounding up 30 of your packing friends, file into your local Starbuck's, sit down without buying anything, open your news papers or set up your chess boards and see how long it goes before they tell you to get your a$$es out so 'purchasing patrons' can get in.
Beside, their coffee is over priced and it sucks. IMHO of course.
