Cool walmart, pizza ranch, fleet farm.

These companies are pretty much the only places I shop now since they allow me to open/concealed carry. Since sprint doesn't allow guns in their store I will be switching cellphone companies in 3 months when my contract is up. I only support companies that don't infringe on my rights.

It may be of an unpopular opinion on this board but, how are they infringing on your rights? They are not forcing you to shop there, they just have conditions on shopping in their stores. Will you stop shopping at any location that has a "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" policy?

That being said, it is certainly your choice to not shop at those stores. I hope that these stores to change their policies but I doubt it will happen.

I have been in several of the local sprint stores (Boise) a lot, usually while CC, and have never had an issue. It's not posted anywhere that I can't carry there.
Are you sure it's not just one independently owned store?

    In addition to your comments:
In Idaho it's illegal to carry at any school, will you pull your kids out of school because you can't carry there?
We have rights and so do business owners, why would you penalize them for enforcing their rights and beliefs in their stores?

    Default which is it?

Open or concealed ? if you are carrying concealed, why did the subject even come up? If you are carrying open, Why?? Do you feel you command some sort of respect by carrying? Your CCW should only be seen by bad guy at the time of use, otherwise you lose part of the advantage a CCW provides. If you don't need the advantage, why do you carry

By a store or company not allowing me to protect myself at all times with a weapon, yes that is infringing on my rights. Are the customer service reps. going to jump in front of a bullet for me and my family or protect me to the best of their ability? It's better safe than sorry I always say. It could be just sprint stores in wisconsin don't allow guns. The manager told me it is a corporate policy. By no shirt, no shoes, no service, I believe stores do that for sanitary reasons. By a store posting a no gun sign, in my opinion it's just like saying no wearing hats, red shirts, green socks, etc. Also carrying concealed in a store that clearly has a no guns allowed sign is illegal. I could lose my permit, be fined, jailed, etc. The law permits certain owners and occupants of property to prohibit persons from
carrying a concealed firearm in or on the property. A person may be subject to a Class B
forfeiture if he or she carries a firearm on the property after being notified not to remain
on the property or remain with a specific type of firearm.

Where are you given the right to go into private property and dictate your own rules?

My right to bear extends only as far to the point of infringing on the rights of business or property owners to control what is and isn't done on their property.
I have a little more issue with the prohibition of firearms on government property. The second amendment is about government infringement, not individual or corporate policies.

If they want to keep customers happy, they should listen and respect their customers. Customers like myself are the ones paying their wages and other expenses. By posting a no guns sign that is just welcoming robbers to take the money without conflict.
