Default Wanted: Ammo Boxes (or suitable)

Anyone have a good cheap source for ammo boxes or similar? I have thousands of rounds of handgun ammo and 12 gauge shells and I need good cheap sturdy dry boxes without paying an arm and a leg. (saves more $ for more guns and ammo!)

Ask the local range if they will let you put out "recycling bins" for ammo boxes.

Bass Pro had a special on some plastic ammo boxes that had the same interior dimensions as the popular US Army .50BMG boxes, for about $12 apiece.

Sportsmansguide.com often has deals on stuff too.

I usually just grab surplus army ammo cans at gun shows or the local army/navy store when I need another... They run fairly cheap ($5 or so for the .50BMG size) and are sealed and durable.
