| Ruger 10-22. Had one a few years back and wish I had it still. Sold it and now wish I had it to teach my son... A great 22LR rifle. Fired any ammo, no issues. Accurate as hell. I had a Tasco scope on it and could shoot the primers out of spent 12GA shotgun shells at 25 to 30yds at the range.

| A lot of people overlook pawn shops for inexpensive deals. However you are on your own there and better know what you are looking at on its condition or bring a friend who does. Check the chamber to make sure it's not damaged from someone dry-firing it a lot and the firing pin hitting the chamber edge. Don't rush, check the pawn deals and check online for prices. Ignore the shyster talk of "only a few made" "get it while it's hot", or the hurry up and buy "or else" routines. A lot of good gun deals come from pawn shops because people are hard up for cash or don't know what they are trading in for cash. Many good gun stores have a used rack with traded in 22s and you can dicker on used stuff. And don't forget the ammo if you can get any. A 22 without a good supply of ammo is called a club.
