NRA Basic Pistol Course - WI & FL Concealed Carry
Your course fee ($120.00) includes a one-year membership or renewal in the NRA. Also included in your tuition are the range fees and target costs. To include the Florida permit, add $$30.00 to your course fee. Successful completion of the course will earn a certificate allowing you to apply for a concealed carry permit. The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.
