    Wink LEOSA and California Prohibitions

I have two questions. With the new 2010 ammendments to HR218 as it pertains to California, it still appears unclear if.....

    1) In California, are qualified retired LEO's allowed to possess handgun magazines in excess of 10 rounds?

    2) In California, are qualified retired LEO's allowed to have and own an AR-15?

    Thanks for any discussion.

The amenment (S1132) to the LEOSA just expands upon who is covered under the LEOSA.

What can be carried, is still the same under the original LEOSA.

The LEOSA does not affect current CA laws concerning large capacity magazines and assault weapons.
