Concealed carry BELT?

I just got a use a 5.11 tactical operator belt with perm stiff nylon insert. Man does this thing work like a dream it keeps the gun at my side and not down by my feet like my fake leather belt from wal-mart did. Well worth the money in my book. They say it's tested and can hold up to 6000 pounds so if it came down to it you could use it to drag someone out of the line of fire.

Awesome, I had considered the operator belt as well, but decided on the leather version so I can wear it with jeans, suits, slacks, etc. i'm glad you like it though- it gives me some confidence that I made a good choice. As far as the price goes- if it works its worth it.

+1 on the fake leather belt making you sag in unnatural places haha

The 5.11 Tactical casual belt with permastiff is absolutely awesome!

I can carry a full size 1911, 1 extra mag, 1 pair of cuffs that I steal from my duty belt, 1 flashlight, and my blackberry and the belt doesn't bend or sag a bit!
Highly reccomended- as for wear? Its too soon to say, but i'll update...

In case you guys are wondering- I'm not too concerned about concealment lol A sports-coat does well, but if i'm in casual I only carry the 1911, cell phone, mag & flashlight..(the mag/flashlight is one unit)

I knew you would love it ! Is it not one of the best belts you have owned? It sure is for me only i have the black nylon tactical operator belt with perm stiff nylon it's so sick. At first the huge belt buckle drove me nuts because i was not use to such a huge one but now it's no problem. I carry the firearm and two back up mags on it with no problem and a leatherman on the back. When I get a flashlight holder i will be mounting my flashlight to the belt as well. I have handcuffs but most of the time they stay home as i have no need for them. I'll post some photos later.

It is the best belt I've ever owned. I was extremely surprised by how strong it is, doesn't flex at all.

LOL I know the only part that does flex ( on my nylon belt) is the first few inches of the tip then the perm stiff takes over and it's stiff. Some times it can be a pain when your trying to get the belt on new pants it does not want to bend into the belt loops.

lmao! I know the first time I put it on it was very difficult- and to tighten it was also difficult.

Now its "broken in" a bit on the tip to fasten it but other than that its solid.

I have a leather belt made from The Belt Man. I also have one from Galco, and High Noon Holsters. They work great, but I may have to try that 5.11 nylon belt.

I have the leather- but from what I understand the leather uses the same "permastiff" insert.

I own 2 of these in 1-1/4" size. Black & Brown. Can be worn with jeans or dress slacks. Best I've ever used.
