I think he's trying to say that around where he lives people sneak into a gun store and deny it later, hence why he's comparing it to a porn store; apparently going to a regular porn store is bad and so are gun stores.

Then again, I could be wrong; I see nothing wrong with going to a gun store (or a porn store for that matter) so I'm not sure where this is coming from...

(Regardless of ones religious/moral views, porn stores aren't illegal; I don't want to derail the thread by talking about how bad those stores are )

Shop owners around here have been targeted by BG's so they are pretty adamant when it comes to people wearing shades and hoodies inside their shops.

GD you can carry gun when you want under your laws. I am sick of seeing people going to gun shop like they are going to porn shops. For god sakes,. you are not commiting some horrible crime because your want to own a gun. Stop being guilty before you are tride. I am from NY and I can introduce you to a lot of people who can shoot your socks off while you are deciding what gun you should carry. So based on feedback from the group, I will explain. Sorry I did not make myself clear. I have been shooting since I was 9 years old in Colorado. I am a Marine now living in the East. There is a lot of guilt associated with owning a gun out here. I was at a social event this weekend and my wife stated to another person that her husband owned a gun. The other women's immediate response was "Oh my god, your husband is a killler." My response would have been " Gee you have no problem sending my ass to fight your war but I cannot own a gun in the US?" There is so much stigma associated with owning a gun that it is like owning porn. Neither of which is anyones business and your right to own a gun is a constitutional right. We seem to have a group of people in this country who believe that the Constitution is a "pick and choose" menu. Choose what you like and forget the others. But, as we know it is not like that. The Constitution is one document for all people. For example, the people are quick to support the First Amendment Rights but put down the Second Amendment, the Fifth Amendment, and the Fourteenth Amendment, etc. So, my point was not clearly stated on our forum since we don't have issues with gun ownership. But, I do see people sneeking into gun shops with dark glasses and hoods on and claiming "I would never go into a gun shop" out here in the east. It is a local phenomenon.

First off let me Thank You for defending my right to bear/carry arms. I agree with what you wrote I own several guns and I ride a Harley and people think I am going to kill people and all I ride my bike and shoot my guns because its what I enjoy. Second what we go through for a CCW is crazy, A crazy gun carring law breaker doesn't care. I protect my family if needed, so thanks for bringing up a good point.
