New to North Carolina CCW & wow, there are some "interesting" laws surrounding where you can and cannot carry here.

Was looking for any advice, personal experiences, resources, etc for the NC CCW advocate.

Here's a relevant question regarding CCW in North and South Carolina: do CCW laws (state laws) pre-empt / supersede local city / county / municipality laws?

Put differently, in Ohio for example, the State Constitution and the state laws governing CCW "trump" any local laws which might be put into effect (keeps me from having to know the CCW laws for every city that I drive through in my own state). Do you know if NC and SC are the same way?

Another point, unless you own property in the state of SC, you cannot get a non-resident SC carry permit.
