Pocket Holsters This is what I use and absolutely love it. I also use a cheap cell phone holder from Lowes to carry two speedloaders (stacked one on top of the other).
The 442 is also nicely complimented with a crimson trace grip![]()
My 442 is not the airweight model. It has some weight to it. Therefore, I'm looking for a comfortable holster/s to use with it. I need an IWB choice and an OWB choice, for different situations of clothing.
Suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh, I'm also considering a conceal vest with 2 pockets with built-in holsters and 2 other pockets for carrying phone, camera, etc.

I like the look of the pocket holster. I use the Desantis because of the price.
Personally, I can’t think of anything more nerve-racking than selecting holsters for my gun(s). I believe I would have better luck picking out a pair of shoes for my woman; yeah right!
In any event, it’s a crapshoot. The run of the mill stuff is just that. Whereas the boutique makers' charge through the nose. About the only one that’s sorta-kinda’ universally accepted, is the SmartCarry (size medium for the j-frame). Aside from that, my opinions are just that.

I just did a cut and paste. Have not seen the product. No need to post a pic.
Austin, how does your 442 pattern without the laser at 21 feet? Mine is total horsesh*t.
I refer to my 442, as my Jack Ruby Gun. Anything past five feet, I am not sure where the bullet will end up. Maybe I received a not so good one from S&W?
Its a very short barrel gun that is designed for close combat situations and concealability. Now that being said, it doesn't pattern well at distances. Mine became better when I got a Hogue grip for it, as it seemed to help me be able to tighten the groups a bit. This is not a duty weapon at all, but still a good choice for CC.
