Why wouldn't you just put your gun somewhere safe where it wouldn't be found, then go outside with the guy and take care of business?

Well, you know how women get about those little incidents. The wife of the owner would never let you come back again. The instigator wouldn't be invited back either, but there's no sense in you losing an invite to a great party because of someone that can't hold his liquor.
