Just read over on tngunowners.com that the veto override vote will be held in the TN House of Representatives either tomorrow or Monday.

And the house overrides the governor's veto
handgun carry is officially legal for permit holders in tennessee in all bars and restaurants now assuming they don't consume alcohol.
The House overrode the veto 61-30! The Governor should not have lied before he was elected and said that he supported Restaurant Carry!
He needs to be unelected!
I've been reading the thread on this bill closely on tngunowners.com, and there's a lot of confusion as to whether the law goes into effect immediately or whether the law is no good until the right signatures come along. Am I wrong to assume that I can carry into places that serve alcohol yet? I'll conceal so I don't cause a ruckus, but really, what's the deal?
The law has effect from June 4. You're good.
Good. My faith in the people of Tennessee is restored!![]()
