how long did it take for the PA license? I just recieve the NY state unrestricted I was really lucky
I think most of the states that require training will accept a DD214...there may be an issue of time frame. I recall reading on one state's site...don't recall which right now...that the DD214 can be used if it was "issued in the last 6 years"
wow...just reading thru AZ's site. Looks like they have the same reciprocity as FL...and it's only $60 for initial app/$43 for renewal. I sent an email to AZDPS requesting packet...got a response in under 10 minutes saying it would be in todays mail!

I think the retired police thingy is Federal so NJ had to go along.

NY state varies county to county. Oneida County says 3 yrs, Also need NRA pistol course within 3 years if no DD214
