Just stumbled upon this thread. It's embarrassing to live here some times in the cradle of liberty. I was assured by a state rep last week the law will not be changed this year.

My "status" here has been "criminal" since early July, my permit has yet to be renewed. It has been TWO weeks today since the town said they'd fast track it. Glad I'm not being water boarded while I wait.

In this state, they give the criminals a free ride and prosecute the well intentioned law abiding citizens who mess up to the max. Set an example for the gang bangers and drug dealers.

Yea! I'm so glad I will probably be moving to that wonderful state in the next 6 months. Not much of a choice, my girlfriend lives there and doesn't want to move. We've been together long distance for 15 years. I also just applied for my dream job, which is in downtown Boston, so commuting form NH is not really an option.
Of course, there's a chance I won't get the job, so the move will be delayed for a while.

No apology needed. You were really not in error. It's just the fact that anything with the phrase "iceman" in it makes some of the "older" members here queasy. It's akin to the feeling of illness brought on by words like Obama, Pelosi, Reid, socialism...
