Most states have up to a 90 day turnaround time.
Mine here in Oklahoma took 2 1/2 months.
Where my CCW license? Took the required class/training. Sent all required and completed paperwork and money order in on Oct 23 to the State (Louisiana). Money order cashed Nov 18. Called about it and got the typical 'about six weeks to process' spiel. Explained above info and was told it should be there soon.

Your CCW instructor should have known to you that it takes at least 60 days if mailed in. I hand delivered to State Police HQ per
my instructors advice and got in just over 30 days. I have found out some instructors for permit has lots better info than others.I went to TNT in Robert la. Dane Thomas
When I moved to Nevada, I took the classes and applied for Nevada (resident) and Utah (non-resident) permits.
I hand delivered my Nevada application and got my fingerprint card for the Utah application at the same time. I mailed the Utah application, along with passport photo and credit card information, on the same day.
The Utah permit arrived exactly five weeks later and the Nevada permit arrived the following week.
My Florida (resident) permit took about eight weeks to be delivered, but only about two weeks when I renewed it.
New Hampshire (non-resident) permit arrived less than a month after mailing the one-page application.

If you've renewed you non-resident Florida already, that means your first one was during Florida's bad backedup period. Two weeks is common here now.
