traveling to peurto rico I am a Illinois resident (unfortunately), and am planning on a trip to peurto rico. does anyone know of any state that issues a non-resident CCW permit that peurto rico will acknowledge? basically i want to carry legally on vacation, is there a way to do it?

Yep - it is 'may issue' and getting a permit is very restriction (check right here on USACarry). No reciprocity (obviously). I've been in some really bad parts of Puerto Rico (check your spelling) and never felt threatened. Where are you going to be in Puerto Rico?
