Carry Ammo - Single Type vs. Mixed

I don't see the merits of a mixed magazine. My defense round is the Hornady Critical Defense.

IMHO I really can't see any advantage to "mix" the ammo loading. When the shtf everything wil get "mixed" up enough that the last thing you would need is a mixed ammo load. This idea kinda brings to mind one of "Murphys" laws of combat; "No battle plan ever survived the first attack". I would suggest you find a loading with and expandable bullet that you can shoot effectively and consistently and try and stick with it. Alternating FMJ and HP will be very difficult to maintain a consistent impact point even with bullet weights that are the same.
