It would also make the initial grip a little fumbly. You'd have to practice like crazy with it.
And - it limits you to smaller guns, which are pretty easy to conceal anyway.
On the other hand - for those tradeoffs, you do get much better concealment. And you can tuck in your shirt without the shirt obstructing your access like with a "tuckable" holster.
I don't have the balls to carry OWB with a swing away jacket or coat, I can always imagine it flipping up in a breeze and Whoops. Or I jump on my Bike and forget to zip or button and get pulled over for brandishing a weapon. Plus it gets too hot around here to carry that way except in winter.
