Leave the gun home or hide it really really well. I know it sucks, but until my state of NY lightens up a bit on gun control (which I believe will not happen in my lifetime), you have no choice. Oh, and call your local politicians and tell them to support H.R. 822-The Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act. I doubt it will get passed (even if it clears the house I just can't picture Obama signing this one), but we need to try our best.
