There was an article in the local about a preteen finding a gun in the stall at the local Y'all Mart. It turned out to be an off duty LEO's gun, so I guess it can happen and happen to anyone. But talk about being preoccupied! Jeez!

You folks that carry the 'mini' guns could use one of the neck lariats you see retail clerks wear their name tags on. You see a lot of managers at Y'all Mart wearing them.

Carry one in your pocket and loop it through the trigger guard or around the grip. Wear it around your neck while in the stall. Just make sure the safety is WAY on before you loop a 'trigger pull' anywhere near the trigger.

What about a length of stretchy webbing that has Velcro on both ends. It is long enough to wrap around my upper calf just below the knee. When I sit to do my business I wraps it around my calf, slip in my gun, do my thing. I can stand and move around with it and the gun at knee level, then transfers the gun to my IWB as I pull up my pants.

And if anyone decides to market the product, I get 15% for intellectual property right! :-)

There's nothing intellectual about putting anything through the trigger guard but your finger, when aimed at something you are willing to destroy. Never rely on a mechanical safety. Period.

    Always use a stall.
