using public restroom & carrying

LOL, not sure if this has been discussed I'm gonna guess yes :) ... Just wondering what the protocol is for going #2 in a stall in a public restroom and your carrying? What do most of you folks do with your firearm. A. Put it on the TP holder
B. Put it on the tank
C. Hold it with non wiping hand
I know you can't keep it on the waistband while your pants are around your feet, could the guy I. Thenext stall possibly not only see it but be able to grab and go if he so wished?

I genrally take my gun and place it in the crotch of my underpants after I have lowered them. Gun is safe, available, and no one else will put there hand there. LOL

+1 for "in the crotch of underpants after lowering" if carrying OWB.

If carrying IWB, I just leave gun in holster clipped to my pants and belt, and sort of let it slouch inward. Not easily accessible nor terribly visible from the adjacent stall.

Avoid a "wide stance." In addition to keeping your gun more secure, it avoids any *ahem* misunderstandings.

Putting it in the crouch of the pants works best put on the tp holder or any where else one may forget it. Best to always keep it on ur person.

I pocket carry and leave it in the pocket. I also shat at home as much as possible and avoid public toilets as much as possible. They're a pet peeve of mine....

As a female who carries in the waistband, I either hang my purse on the hook on the back of the door and put my gun in there, or I will put the safety on and hang the gun on the hook. One caution is that make sure the cracks between the stalls is not wide enough that someone could glance over and see your gun on the hook. I don't always trust the toilet paper dispenser because sometimes they can come open and dump everything on the floor. Check it first before putting anything on it.

I know this is possible because it happens but I have to ask "Where in the FRAK is your head that you would forget that you just put your gun on the TP holder?"

Carrying IWB, you can always pull your shorts up and fold them out overthe gun, then pull them and your pants down at once. It keeps it covered and generally folds i out of sight anyway. IDK about OWB. Seems to me you could let it flip in behind your ankleand stay out of sight and reach.

I think this is generally not a good idea. Someone could reach over the stall door and grab it. More likely with a whole purse than a gun, but I won't hang anything from those hooks. To each their own though, just my opinion.
