If you paid 100.00, there is a record of some type...I would ask before you submit the application....

Because if it is on your record, and you submit saying no it could make it twice as hard to get a permit in the future...Some states will note it as falsification of government document...

More likely you will be OK, but I would check to be sure.

Interesting, I did just notice that.... defendant pays $100 for the charges to be dropped?!?! This IS starting to seem a bit deeper than originally appears on the surface. Sounds more like a fine to me.

It doesn't matter whether he was convicted of the crime or not, they know, and he didn't say if the arrest was for domestic violence or not! If that is the case, he won't get a license in any state!

    I rest my case!

OK, So you have a chance!

You didn't say how long ago the arrest has been. Usually they want it to be about 3 to 5 year before you apply.

Do yourself a favor and do what I suggested, and submit a court document(disposition/end results) along with your application. Believe me, they will know about the arrest, and it can't hurt your chance of getting your license. It shows you are truthful and of good moral value!

    Go for it! Good luck.
