I agree that we should have a nationwide firearms law that allows all law abiding citizens to openly carry everywhere not prohibited by private interests (as opposed to government decree). However, it isn't a Second Amendment issue and does not interfere with inter-State travel on a constitutional level.

If we keep thinking it does, then we won't be putting in the effort needed to accomplish the goal because we'll be wasting energy and resources barking up the wrong tree.

GOOD NEWS! Charges against Mark Meckler, the co-founder of Tea Party Patriots, have been dropped. Unfortunately, he plead to a lesser charge, but this opens the door to precedent. If they drop the charges for him, they'll have to drop the charges for the Marine and the woman at the 911 memorial.

Not so fast. The marine and trade center woman were carrying. Tea party dude was only in possession. The jerks in the city will make that distinction. If you leave it up to Bloomy, he'll fire the ADA that made the deal.

    Default Unbelievable

With the majority of State's allowing concealed carry of firearm's, it is sad to see that New York and California and other's prohibit American's from defending themselve's, even going as far as to make them criminal's for it. The thing's I can do here in Phoenix, I would be a convicted felon for in those State's. Now that a National Carry Law permitting people to carry in other State's has been introduced, the other unbelievable thing is that those coming from othe State's, will have more right's then those who live there.
