Spoken like someone who has run afoul of the rules and gotten burned. Since OFCC is a lobby organization and engages in legal actions, there is a concern about how the forum could affect such matters. Couple that with the desire to maintain a higher level of decorum than you see in most internet forums, and you can see why the rules for the site are necessarily more stringent than is typical. The lobbying and legal actions also explain the registration fee, which isn't required to participate in the forum by the way, unless the rules have changed since I first registered. I suggest going there and deciding for yourself before heeding unsubstantiated and unconfirmed reports from others here.

I got banned for saying that the US CONSTITUTION is the SUPREME law of the land and that any law that has anything to do at all about firearms is therefore UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!!!! How in the fu**ing hell can that even be slightly construed as breaking the rules????

Please, oh-so-enlightened one, go to that forum and copy the rule from there that states speaking that truth is forbidden...... and post it here.

You claim one thing, yet your post says the exact opposite...... I say AGAIN that I didnt break any of their asinine "rules", Yet you insist that I did..... You have your head in the sand and are denying that anyone there (ofcc) did anything wrong at all, it all has to be MY fault that I got banned....
I have spoken from my ACTUAL EXPERIENCE on that site.... The FACT that I actually didnt do anything at all against the "rules" yet the MODERATORS, who are supposedly there to uphold the "rules" broke them regularly in my at least 2 years of being on that forum..... But, according to you, I am the rulebreaker, the one who "runs afoul" ......... FUQ!!!

This is not me with a chip on my shoulder, it is YOU saying I lied (deny it all you want, anyone who reads your post will come to the same conclusion) This is me defending myself against someone who claims I do not tell the truth....

Seem like we've wondered pretty far from my original post regarding brandishing a weapon in Ohio.

I got my answer thanks to some good rational opinions posted here. Seems like there really is no clear rule in Ohio. If in bind, I should use the same three legal criteria for brandishing as shooting and call the police first. Sound advice.

I've reviewed the Ohioans for Conceal Carry site. It's constructive. I've also paid to register. Thanks for the lead. It seems like a useful organization.
