My My! What a temper! My friend thought it would be a good idea to share on this forum what happened to her(to protect her privacy I didnt give out her name and details) to show this as another reason why 822 needs to be passed. Last night I spoke with her after she and some other women at the center where she works had viewed this entire thread including BOTH yours and Blues' posts on this thread. She revised her statement to say and I quote "they are both insensitive idiots and bullies and its a waste of time talking to them". Her words, not mine. She is right. Get a life.

I'm going to steal a concept from a 20th Century SCOTUS ruling that says something to the effect of, we may not be able to define obscenity in words, but we know it when we see it.

Same with BS. I know in my gut I have seen a truckload of it from this poster in just this thread.

Figured out that Ignore feature yet hot-shot, or will I be forced to address more tug-at-the-heartstrings events in the life of "your friend?"

Why is illinois exempt from the nation wide CC. DC, i can kind of umderstand, let the crooks keep that dump

IL does not currently have a permit process in place...as such they are the only state that will not be effected if this bill were to pass. DC repealed their permit statute right after Heller so they aren't affected either.
